Limewater is a saturated calcium hydroxide solution, Ca(OH)_{2<\/sub>, produced by mixing air lime with water. To obtain your homemade limewater (made of oil and limescale), keep stirring for 1 minute some limewater with an oil of your choice (50% of each). To apply your mixture, use disposable or reusable cotton. Only prepare small quantities in order, for the oil, to not oxidise (rancid odour) and, for the emulsion, to be better stored.<\/p>
