Citric acid is one of the most widespread acids in the plant world. It can be found in almost all fruits, woods, funguses and even in tobacco. Lemon juice is composed of citric acid, between 5% and 7%. It plays a key role for the metabolism of all living organisms. The human body produces approximately 2g per day of citric acid and decomposes it again and again. It has been acknowledged that it is also a descaling agent (descaling, removing and dissolving limescale) and a wonderful antioxidant. It is completely biodegradable too.
Use with caution, reading the label before use is required.
